Play on: Bounce London arrives

Founded by Adam Breeden and Dov Penzik, Bounce London is a landmark experience which combines fantastic food and drink, with a good old fashioned game of ping pong! The side opened in October 2012, and boasting 13 custom butterfly ping pong tables - including the Olympic 2012 table - Bounce has already received praise from leading publications Vogue, Stylist and The Independent to name but a few.

Bounce London is located at 121 Holborn and comprises a 95 cover restaurant, a bar and a private room. The private room - the Jacques Room - was named after ping pong inventors J. Jacques and Son Ltd and includes three bespoke ping pong tables, a dedicated cocktail bar with mixologist, a state-of-the-art integrated karaoke system and DJ.

Work began on the site in summer 2012, with Russell Sage Studio as the designer and 3 Interior Contracts as the main contractor. Russell Sage Studio is a leading interior designer and brand architect and works on many high profile bar, hotel and restaurant projects in the UK, Europe and overseas.

Chifafa

The rise and and rise of the humble kebab.

A hugely successful Berlin kebab stand was the inspiration for an innovative new concept brought to life in the form of 'kebabs made good' at Chifafa in Clerkenwell.

From Berlin the journey towards establishing the exceptionally promising new premises led across the Middle East in an odyssey geared to creating the perfect kebab.

Directors Nick Green and Matthew Kershaw subsequently co-founded Chifafa with the aim of offering up fresh and healthy versions of the fast food favourite which they said has for too long had a bad reputation.

Designers for the project to create the new venue were Russell Sage Studios; main contractors were 3interior Contracts Ltd, who were commended for their work.

In the spotlight: 3 Interior Contracts

With over forty years of combined experience, 3 Interiors was founded in 2010 by Phillip Moorhead, Stephen Purdy and Brian Stevenson. From the classic through to the contemporary, the Royal through to the restaurant, 3 Interiors provide superior fit-out and refurbishment solutions for a wide variety of clients and sectors.

3 Interiors have worked with world famous designers on several of London's most prestigious hotels, creating rooms of unparalleled luxury. Perhaps most famously was the Royal Suite at The Goring Hotel, where Kate Middleton stayed the night before the Royal Wedding.

Joint managing director, Phillip Moorhead took some time to give Premier Construction an exclusive insight into the story behind the success. He said: "Back in 2010 we set up 3 Interiors as the time was right to set up our own company. Even though the recession was in full swing by that time, we had good contacts and a working relationship with clients in London". "Since then we have received a very positive reaction have gone from success to success, growing the company progressively."

The Hospital Club

Described as the creative industries' 'home away from home', The Hospital Club in Covent Garden has now added a superb new suite of 15 sumptuous contemporary style bedrooms designed by Russell Sage Studio.

The Hospital Club is a celebration of creativity, support its members through an extensive calendar of member events, exhibitions, social and cultural collaborations and an online community where members can create, connect and collaborate. Members of The Hospital Club join one of London's most vibrant and rich creative communities.

The bedrooms are the club's latest addition within seven floors of stunning interiors - with the reception, lobby area, second and fourth floors all designed by Russell Sage. Facilities include a private members' club, an award-winning events company, a TV studio, an exhibition gallery, a screening room and a live performance space which is home to may of London's top cultural events.

The club's distinctive and creatively-inspired new bedrooms will provide guests with a welcoming and relaxing environment The fit-out of the scheme was carried out by 31, with whom Russell Sage Studio have a close working relationship.

The bedrooms include tow large suites and smaller pod rooms providing a cost effective solution for those who require more simple accommodation.

The bedrooms take a unique twist on everyday hotel amenities, including inspiring turndown cards, brain power tool kits by the School of Life, and an erotic mini bar by Holloway Smith Noir available for those wishing to explore their creativity in other ways!

Rooms are available in four sizes: small, medium, large and suite. Suites will include a private terrace, walk in showers, a bath tub and separate dividable lounge area.

Social in the City

City Social restaurant, located within iconic skyscraper Tower 42, has recently opened offering diners an innovative fine dining experience, whilst boasting impressive views of the city's skyline. Jason Atherton, renowned Michelin starred chef and restaurateur, has worked in partnership with Restaurant Associates to unveil the venue which sits in the heart of London.

The 90 cover venue features art deco style interiors, created by award winning designers Russell Sage Studios and main contractor 3 Interior Contracts Ltd, against the backdrop of the stunning London skyline from its location on the 24th floor. City Social opened on the 1st May 2014 and has provided the nation’s capital with a fantastic new eating establishment, which is already creating a buzz in the city.

Andy Harris, Managing Director of Restaurant Associates, commented: "3 Interior Contracts Ltd has created an elegant venue with fine simple finishes including accents of brass and mirror, which sit alongside rosewood paneled boards, chrome and smoked glass."

The Strand Dining Rooms

The heart of Central London is welcoming a brand new restaurant this summer. The Strand Dining Rooms is opening just a stone's throw from one of the capitals most popular destinations; Trafalgar Square.

The restaurant is opening as part of the renovation of the previously named '1-3 Grand Buildings', an aptly named beautiful, large building to the left of Charing Cross Station.

The Strand Dining Rooms is the first solo project by Mark Harris; founder of Harris Restaurant Consultants. Mark Harris said: "London is buzzing at the moment and I'm very excited by what will be offered at The Strand Dining Rooms. Delivering all day eating with real food, exceptional service and at all times offering value for money is very much at the core of everything I believe in. I have a great team around me, from Russell Sage Studios on the design side to 3 Interiors - the contractors who will realize the dream."
